Head of the Committee, Hamdi Shaath, stated in a press release on Sunday that Lord Mohammad Tharour, and other officials would be accompanying the convoy.

For the first, members of the British Conservative Party would also be accompanying the convoy.

Shaath added that having well-known figures among the convoy encourages Arab and International societies and officials to increase their activities against the ongoing siege against the Gaza Strip.

He also stated that members of the convoy are holding talks with the Egyptian Authorities to facilitate the entry of the convoy through the Rafah Border Terminal, and added that committee members already met an official at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

The convoy is carrying aid for the physically challenged, including 200 power wheelchairs.
