author Thursday August 21, 2008 20:23author by Marina Ayyoub - IMEMC News Report post

The Israeli army invaded Nil'in village, south of the West Bank city Ramallah on Thursday morning, as reported by local sources.

Israeli army troops

Israeli army raided the village of Nil'in at 2:30am, searching and ransacking two houses. Two Palestinian civilians were kidnapped, identified as Said Amira aged 22 and Abdullah Abed Al Kareem aged 17, who were then taken to an unknown detention centre. Eyewitnesses reported that the army dragged the two young men after binding them with ropes, causing them injuries and bone fractures. Amira's family members declared that their son was already suffering from some bone fractures since he was recently beaten up by the Israeli troops at the weekly non-violent protest in the village.
