The Israeli army kidnaps a civilian from Bethlehem

The Israeli army troops kidnapped one Palestinian civilian in the West Bank city of Bethlehem Saturday morning, Palestinian sources reported.

Eyewitnesses said that a number of Israeli military vehicles drove into the city and surrounded the house of Fawzi Nawawra, 27 in Bethlehem suburb.

Troops searched and ransacked his home leaving some damages behind and took Nawawra prisoner. Witnessess added that Nawawra was handcuffed, blindfoldedd and taken to undisclosed location.

The reasons behind kidnapping Nawawra remain unclear, as troops did not explain anything to the family.

The Isreli army often take Palestinians prisoners without decalring reasons, and usually they are taken to detention centers inside Israel proper which are inaccessible to Palestinian, in violation of International Law.
