author Friday July 11, 2008 12:43author by Rula Shahwan - IMEMC News Report this post to the editors

The Israeli army and 70 Israeli settlers invaded Ush Ghrab camp in Beit Sahour city on Friday midday. Local sources reported that the Israeli settlers started to write graffiti on the walls of the old military base, they also carried Israeli flags announcing that they will come back on Monday to stay over night.

The Israeli settlers declared that Ush Ghrab will be a new Israeli settlement. Moreover the Israeli army allowed them to behave freely and prevented locals and internationals from approaching the site where the settlers were. Local sources reported that there were around 40 locals and internationals around the area but no clashes or encounters were reported.
