During the weekly cabinet session in the central West Bank city of Ramallah, Fayyad, said that the only initiative which is currently on the table is the initiative of President Abbas.

Also, Fayyad held Israel accountable for the deteriorated humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip due to the continuation of the Israeli siege on the coastal region.

Fayyad also demanded an end to the siege so that medical and food supplies can reach the residents without any delay or restrictions.

The Prime Minister added that the P.A is unable to pay salaries to its public employees in Gaza as Israel is barring any transfer of funds to the Gaza Strip.
