P.A security arrests 11 Hamas supporters in the West Bank

Sources close to the Hamas movement reported on Tuesday that Palestinian security forces, loyal to the Fateh movement, arrested eleven members and supporters of the movement in the West Bank.

In Qalqilia district, in the northern part of the West Bank, security forces arrested Riyadh Walweel, one of the leaders of Hamas, and Mahmoud J’eidy, Eyad Khalid Nofah and Mohsin Hardan.

In Tulkarem district, in the northern part of the West Bank, security forces arrested a journalist identified as Tareq Shihab, who works as a correspondent for the Al Aqsa Radio.  The security forces also arrested Abdul-Fattah Bdeir, Riyadh Ofy, Khalid Zeidan, and a lawyer identified as  Shadi Hijazi.

In Nablus district, also in the northern part of the West Bank, security forces arrested Majdi Fatayir who was recently released from an Israeli detention facility.

A report released by Hamas movement stated that security forces loyal to Fateh arrested last month 26 members and supporters of Hamas and three of the Islamic Jihad.
