Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli soldiers fired artillery shells at a group of fighters of the Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, east of Khan Younis. Three fighters were wounded during clashes with Israeli soldiers who invaded the area.

Medical sources reported that the three fighters were moved to Nasser Hospital in the center of Khan Younis; one of them suffered moderate wounds.

Also, soldiers shelled several homes east of Khan Younis causing several anxiety attacks among a number of residents, especially the children.

Moreover, fighters managed to destroy a military bulldozer while it was uprooting farmlands east of Khan Younis.

Also on Saturday, five residents were wounded; two seriously, in an Israeli shelling that targeted Hamas fighters in Al Sha’af area, east of Gaza City.

Khalid Radi, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, reported that two of the wounded are in critical conditions.

Moreover, soldiers shelled several areas close to the Eretz and Karni Crossing, east of Gaza City, while military vehicles carried a limited invasion into the area.

Five more Palestinians were wounded earlier on Saturday when the army fired artillery shells at Qassam fighters in Al Saha’af area, close to a local mosque in Al Shujaeyya.
