A trilateral Arab summit to be held in Egypt

The daily Arab newspaper of al Hayat based in London reported on Tuesday that Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas will arrive in Cairo on Wednesday.

The Palestinian president is expected to take part in a Palestinian- Egyptian- Jordanian summit that will be attended by King Abdullah II of Jordan and President Husni Mubarak of Egypt. The Newspaper added that President Abbas will visit the Saudi capital of al Al-Riyadh where he will hold a meeting with the Saudi Monarch Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. During his meetings with the Arab leaders President Abbas will discuss the latest developments in the situation in the Palestinian territories and the outcomes of his talks with the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice which were held earlier this week.
