Medical sources reported that Mahmoud Al Masalmah, 14, was shot and killed during clashes between the Israeli army and local school children protesting against Israeli attacks on Gaza, in Beit Awoua village near Hebron.

Doctors said that the boy died from bullet wounds from live rounds piercing his heart. Another 24 children sustained light to moderate wounds in the clashes.

Meanwhile in Hebron, a protest was organized by Palestinian political factions and local NGOs to protest the latest Israeli attacks on the Palestinian coastal region. The army attacked the protest with tear gas and live rounds; medical sources reported that 21 civilians were injured by Israeli army fire.
