Israeli troops invade a village near Jenin and open fire at civilians

A Palestinian family, from the village of Kufer Dan near Jenin city in the northern part of the West Bank, escaped an almost certain death on Monday morning when Israeli troops invading the village opened fire at them.

At around 2:00 am on Monday Nabeel Salah, his wife and his two sons left their home and were walking towards the family bakery shop in the village, Israeli troops who were invading the village opened fire at them nearly killing them all.

Salah said that he and his family started to shout at the soldiers and told them that they were civilians; troops continued to fire at them then detained them for three hours. Before letting the family go soldiers interrogated and searched all members of the family, Salah said.

The Israeli army invaded the village of Kufer Dan on Monday at dawn and started to search residents homes, residents reported that the Israeli troops were very violent dealing with the civilians and deliberately destroyed some of their belongings.

The invasion ended after several hours when troops left the village, no kidnappings were reported.
