During this week's protest the demonstrators carried with them the Palestinian flags and banners that denounce the construction of the settlements and the Wall, chanted slogans with the same meaning and took to the streets of the village. When they attempted to reach the barbed wire fence installed by the Israeli army near the construction site, the Israeli soldiers through loudspeakers, warned them not to pass and showered them with gas bombs and rubber coated bullets. Dozes of the participants suffered from inhaled gas. Two Intentional peace activists including a French and an Italian were injured. |
