Eyewitnesses reported that a large military force invaded the area and attacked residents' homes. Among the 8 kidnapped were Hasan Zebda, Ibrahim Freij and Mahmoud Freij.

Also on Thursday morning, Israeli forces conducted a ransacking campaign on several civilian homes near the illegal separation wall at Al Tayba village, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

The army claimed the operation was in response to an attempt by Palestinians to destroy parts of the illegal wall.

Two other Palestinians were reportedly abducted by Israeli army in Kafr Qaddum near Qalqilia in the northern West Bank bringing the total number of Palestinians abducted in the West Bank on Thursday to 10.

Elsewhere, Israeli military forces established several flying checkpoints in neighborhoods in the southern West Bank city of Hebron and at the al Fuwar refugee camp. Sources reported that soldiers detained Palestinians, checked identification cards and searched motorists.
