The reporter was identified as Mohammad Halaiqa. He was ordered to head to a Palestinian security center in Hebron for interrogation earlier on Friday.

He then was interrogated from nine in the morning until five in the evening.

A family member said that more than seven security officers attacked Mohammad, punched and slapped him for an extended period before kicking him until he fell unconscious.

He was moved to a local hospital in Hebron and is currently receiving treatment for concussions and bruises in various parts of his body.

Mohammad said that the interrogators threatened to impose a 10000 US Dollars fine on him if he resumes his work with the Al Aqsa Station, affiliated with Hamas movement.
