Mosheer aL-Masri, head of the Hamas' parliamentary bloc in the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), passed the document to the PLC, saying his bloc is utterly opposed to the Washington-sponsored conference.

According to the document, the Palestinian people are the ones entitled to the Palestinian self-determination and that the rights of the people can never be dropped in the course of time.

The document also stressed on the 'Palestinian people's rejection of the Oslo accords of 1993', which according to Hamas, has engaged the Palestinians into an 'unending state of mess'.

Ahmad Bahar of Hamas, speaker of the PLC, who recited the document, went onto saying " the past signed agreements, including the Road Map and Oslo, have proved to be only a fine solution for the 'enemy's security problem' at the expense of the Palestinian rights and own security'.

Israel has preempted the peace convention by demanding the Palestinians to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, in a time Palestinians and Israelis have not yet agreed on core issues, such as the borders of Palestinian state, the status of Jerusalem and the problem of Palestinian refugees.

Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, who outlawed Hamas after the latter's takeover of Gaza in mid June, will be attending the Annapolis summit tomorrow, in the hope that such a process would lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Speaking to reporters in Ramallah yesterday, Abbas's spokesman, Nabil Abu Rodaina, confirmed that the Palestinian negotiation team is participating in the summit on basis of the 1991's Madrid conference formula ' land for peace'.
