Meanwhile, the aL-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an offshoot of Fatah, said in a statement, faxed to press; it launched three mortar shells on the Erits checkpoint.

In a related development, a joint statement of the aL-Qassam Brigades and the Saraya aL-Quds brigades, read that fighters of the group spotted Israeli army undercover special units in eastern Khan Younis city in southern Gaza and the Zaytoun neighborhood in eastern Gaza city.

The statement said that the fighters clashed with the sweeping undercover units.

Israeli army killed yesterday three Palestinians including two resistance fighters and wounded at least eight others, mostly civilians, during attacks on different parts of the Hamas-run Gaza Strip.
