Security sources told Palestine News Agency that large Israeli army forces invaded several neighborhoods in both the city and the camps conducting a major ransacking campaign on several civilian homes. The Israeli army claimed they were looking for so-called 'wanted' Palestinians. The sources added that troops kidnapped Hamza Maraheel, 21 from Balata refugee camp and Mohannad Al Damouny from el Ein refugee camp; both were subsequently transferred to an unknown detention center.

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli soildiers invaded Nablus city with at least 10 military vehicles and one military bulldozer searching homes, and reportedly causing damage.
