The sources said that around 30 military vehicles stormed the camp from several directions, troops searched and ransacked homes and forced the residents out of their homes and into the rain for several hours.

Witnesses said that among those homes attacked was the house of Sami Al Ghul, a leader in the Al Quds brigades, an off shoot of the Islamic Jihad. Later Israeli forces imposed a total curfew on the camp.

After searching some homes Israeli soldiers kidnapped at least 10 civilians and took them to unknown locations.

Near the local school, clashes erupted between the local school boys and the soldiers leading to injuries of four boys. Sources in the camp told IMEMC that the clashes are still occuring.
