The plan comes as part of ongoing efforts to increase the likelihood of success at the Annapolis conference, scheduled for the end of November, and is thought to include proposals for a Jericho trade park, through which Palestinian products can be exported abroad without going through Israeli checkpoints, a new sewage system in the Gaza Strip.

It is hoped that the projects will create thousands of job opportunities for unemployed Palestinians, in addition to instilling a sense of the 'on the ground' situation improving.
