Settlers set fire to Palestinian olive groves

Abed al Kareem Husein, head of village council of the northern West Bank village of Dir Al Hatab, east of Nablus ,  on Thursday reported that a group of setterlers had set fire to olive groves belonging to the village.

The blaze damaged more than fifty trees. 

Husein added that the Israeli soldiers prevented the local fire fighting vehicles from reaching the village, and that residents were forced to fight the fire in any way they could.
