Initial reports have suggested that those killed were members of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the armed wing of Fatah.
Of those injured, one currently lies in a critical condition.
Eyewitnesses said that the airstrike targeted a car as it drove through Beit Lahia.
The Israeli army escalated operations against Palestinian resistance groups in Gaza after the Hamas movement established total control over the coastal region, with at least 80 Palestinians, including passers-by, have been killed by Israeli army fire over the past four months.
