Military forces invaded Tulkarem city, Tulkarem refugee camp, and the towns of Bal'a and Deir al-Ghosoon, searching and ransacking homes while seacrhing for so-called 'wanted Palestinians.'

In Tulkarem city and refugee camp, Israeli forces kidnapped at least nine Palestinians, with eight of the kidnapped thought to be members of the Hamas movement. Among those kidnapped were Ra'ed Qawzah, Rami Melhim, and Jamal Kharboosh.

In Deir Al Ghosoon town, in northern Tulkarem, Abed Al Salam Jundab and Abed Al Mun'em, both men are thought to be members of Islamic Jihad.

Three Palestinians, later identified as Khaled Jetawe, Mahmoud Jetawe and Lu'ay Abu Yassen, were also kidnapped from Bal'a town, in eastern Tulkarem identified.
