Hamas stated that in Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank, security forces arrested Mohammad Al Kattout, 25, after ambushing his vehicle west of the city. Al Kattout is wanted by Israel for membership with the Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas. Palestinian security forces also arrested Humam Shareef, from Aseera Al Qibliyya village near Nablus. Shareef, a student at Al Najah University in the city, was arrested as he was leaving the university campus. Another resident from Madama village, also near Nablus, was arrested at a security headquarters after he was ordered to head there for questioning. In Tulkarem, also in the northern part of the West Bank, Palestinian Preventive Security Forces arrested resident Mohammad Al Daddou. Residents Ramzi Na’alwa, the Imam of Sheika village mosque near Tulkarem, Mohammad Atiyya, Muawiya Al Najjar, and Mohammad Abudl-Karim were also arrested from their homes. Al Najjar and Abdul-Karim are university students. Security forces also arrested Isam Hamid, from Thannaba village, while resident Hatim Yassin, from Kaftr Al Lubbad village, was arrested at a security headquarters after they headed there for questioning as ordered by the security forces. In Jenin, in the northern part of the West Bank, security forces arrested Allam Jardat after breaking into his home. The forces also arrested Hani Abu Farha after breaking into his home in Al Jalama village north of the city. Resident Basil Ghannam, from Jaba’ village, south of Jenin, was arrested at a Palestinian security headquarters after he headed there questioning. Security forces also arrested Bilal Asef, from Aqaba village, west of Tubas city. Asef was also arrested at a security headquarter near Tubas after he was ordered to head there for questioning. Moreover, Hamas movement said that parents of resident Yousef Al Sakhin, from Qalqilia in the northern part of the West Bank was hospitalized after being severely tortured by interrogators in Qalqilia prison. |
