In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Israeli military forces kidnapped the father and the brother of an al-Quds brigade leader in Jenin who is wanted by the Israeli security forces, in an attempt to force him turn himself in.

Local sources reported that at least 30 military vehicles invaded the eastern neighborhood of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, besieging the main entry points, kidnapping two and ransacking scores of civilians' homes.

Troops invaded the house of the al-Aqsa Brigade leader's family (Abu Ghali family), and forced them out of their house, detaining them for several hours and interrogating them. Troops then kidnapped the wanted man's father, Ahmad,58; and his brother, Ramzy, 35; saying they would release them only when he turns himself in to the Israeli Authorities.

The invasion of the Abu Ghali family home is the second one in less than a week, as Israeli forces invaded their house two days earlier to kidnap their 'wanted' son.
