One Palestinian killed, three injured as military forces airstrike targeted a car in Rafah

One Palestinian police officer was killed in the early hours of Saturday morning and three others were injured in Israeli airstrike against civilian car that belongs to the Palestinian police in Morag area near  the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.

Mohammad Siyam,22 died of wounds sustained by debris of an Israeli missle, Palestinian Medical sources reproted.   The sources added that three other police officers were lightly wounded in the attack.


Eyewitnesses told IMEMC that the airstrike was executed by Israeli military jet fighters that fired a missile on car near a Palestinian police station while the police officers were crowded in the area.

During the past week attack on Gaza, 19 Palestinians were killed including a number of resistance fighters.  The number of Police officers killed by Israeli forces in the past few months has raised to 13.

Meanwhile in the West Bank, Palestinian and Israeli officials have reached an agreement to reallow 300 Palestinian police officers to delpoy in Nablus to maintain law and order.

 

Israel has prevented the Palestinian police to function in several West Bank areas which raised the average of crime and resulted in a state of lawlesness, and civil unrest.
