In a phone call to representatives outside the prison, prisoners indicated that some 250 inured detainees were yet to receive medical treatment, with one prisoner having lost an eye as a direct result.
Approximately 11,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli detention centers announced a one-day hunger strike on Tuesday in solidarity with those prisoners in the Negev.
Negev prisoners also demand on Wednesday to perform an international investigation committee to investigate recent events.
