Al-Quds Brigades fire homemade shells at Sderot and Ashkleon

The al-Quds brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, on Monday fired several homemade shells at the Israeli Negev towns of Sderot and Ashkelon.

The Brigades issued a press release confirming their responsibility for the operation shortly after it was launched.
The group added its ongoing struggle represented a form of resistance against Israeli attacks and the continued occupation of the Palestinian territories.
