Local sources in Salfit reported that Palestinian Security Forces arrested on Tuesday sheikh Raed Husam Harb, 50, from Iskaka village, east of Salfit after he visited families of residents detained by the Palestinian Security Forces. Harb was repeatedly arrested by the Israeli army and was recently released from an Israeli prison after spending a long period under administrative detention. He is also suffering from several health problems. Hamas movement slammed that arrest of Harb and stated that he is one of the well-known figures who always seek reconciliation. On Thursday morning, Palestinian Security men arrested three Hamas members, including two students of Al Najah University in Nablus. The three were released later on. Hamas sources reported that Palestinian security men broke earlier on Thursday at dawn into the house of Adil Al Madbouh, east of Nablus, and arrested his sons Ihsan and Ehab. Ihsan is a student of the Law faculty at Al Najah University. He was previously arrested by the Palestinian security and was released only one week before he was rearrested on Thursday. Moreover, Hamas stated that Palestinian security men arrested on Wednesday Ala’ Fidda, member of the Factions Coordination Committee. He was asked to head to a security center for questioning and was arrested after he headed there. Also on Wednesday, security men arrested Eyad Asfour, the brother of Adnan Asfour one of the political leaders of Hamas, after breaking into his home in Rafidia neighborhood in Nablus. Also, security men arrested Raed Abu Rmeila from Al Dahiya neighborhood in Nablus after breaking into his home. Abu Rmeila, a student of Al Najah university, was also previously arrested by the Palestinian security devices. Hamas demanded the Palestinian security devices to release all of its members and supporters, and called on president Mahmoud Abbas to end the “political arrest file”. |
