Israeli forces kidnap Prisoners Society lawyer and two civilians in Bethlehem

Israeli forces invaded the city of Bethlehem on Wednesday night and again on Thursday morning. Three Palestinians were kidnapped during the operations.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, Israeli military forces abducted Husien Al Sheikh, 37, lawyer for the Prisoners Society in Bethlehem.

Palestinian Security sources reported that a large force of Israeli soldiers invaded the neighborhood of Mrah Rabah, in the eastern part of Bethlehem. They opened fire and imposed tight security measures in the area. Homes were searched and troops were stationed in the streets and at the main points of entry to the village.The operation lasted for some time and ended with the kidnapping of Al Sheikh, who was taken to an unidentified location.

On Wednesday night, at least 10 Israeli army jeeps invaded Bethlehem city center. Soldiers searched homes and then kidnapped two brothers. Army sources said both are Hamas activists.

Local sources identified the two as Adel and Issam Jawarish.
