Resistance factions retaliate to the death of Eight residents in the Gaza Strip

Several Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip exchanged fire with Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip and fired Rocket Propelled Grenades(RPG) at them in retaliation to the death of Eight Palestinians killed by invading Israeli forces in the coastal region on Wednesday.

In a joint press release, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Popular Resistance Committees, claimed responsibility for firing RPG shells  at Israeli armored vehicles in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The two armed groups stated that the attack comes part of the natural response to the ongoing Israeli invasion to several parts of the Gaza Strip, and “in retaliation to the crimes carried by the invading forces against the Palestinian people.

The two groups added that their fighters will not hesitate in defending the people against these invasions.

Eight  Palestinians were killed by the invading Israeli forces in several areas in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

Medical sources reported that five of the slain residents were identified as Khairy Mousa Hamdan, 26, Mohammad Osama Adwan, 20, Mohammad Talal Basiouny, 24, Hussein Ahl, and Ahmad Al Mathloum.

 Moreover, a news website affiliated with Hamas movement reported on Wednesday evening that Fawzi Al Ashram, leader of the “Islamic Army” group  was killed in an air strike that targeted his vehicle, Ayman Dalloul, and Osama Al Reefy, who accompanied Al Ashram, were also killed, at least four residents were injured in the attack.

The medical sources added that in total, a minimum of twenty residents were injured in the Gaza Strip, five seriously.

Several hospitals in the Gaza Strip appealed the residents to donate blood due to the large number of casualties.
