 Palestinian medical sources in the West Bank reported on Monday that resident Ali Sa’id Matar, died on Sunday of wounds sustained on Thursday after being attacked by unknown gunmen. Palestinian Legislator, Jamil Majdalawi, one of the political leaders of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, said that the Front slams this attack and warned that it is part of attempts to inflame internal violence among the Palestinian factions. He added that internal violence and conflicts serve “the interests of the enemies of the Palestinian people”, and called on all Palestinian factions and the Palestinian people to reject any calls for internal violence and to remain united in their struggle against the Israeli occupation. Majdalawi also said that those groups that are trying to create further tension and internal clashes should be exposed and prosecuted regardless of their political claims or preferences. |
