Army invades east of Rafah, demolished houses and abducts 45 residents

Local sources in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, informed the IMEMC that Israeli troops, supported by armored vehicles and jeeps, invaded an area east of Rafah in the southern part of the Gaza Strip on Saturday at night.

As the offensive is still ongoing, 45 residents were kidnapped by the invading forces and some houses were demolished by military bulldozers.

Several resistance groups exchanged fire with the invading forces.
