Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli force invaded the village of Al Fare'a, surrounded the mosque and fired tear gas into the building, injuring several worshippers.

Also near Jenin, Palestinian resistance fighters fired an explosive device at an Israeli military unit as it patrolled the northern West Bank town of Qabatiya. In the aftermath of the operation, Israeli forces called for reinforcements, searching and ransacking the town and detaining several civilians for interrogation.
