The protesters, including a very noticeable presence of women, marched from Nablus towards Al Ein refugee camp.

Sheikh Maher Al Kharraza, one of the prominent leaders of Hamas in Nablus, and Zaher Al Shishtry, representative of the PFLP at the Political Factions Coordination Committee, participated in the protest.

The protesters carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans demanding stopping any security coordination with the Israeli occupation and demanding the Palestinian Security devices to protect the Palestinian people “instead of arresting the political figures and fighters”.

Recently Palestinian security devices, loyal to Fateh movement, arrested several members and supporters of Hamas movement after president Abbas declared the Executive Force of Hamas illegal and barred its activities in the West Bank.

Several physically challenged residents participated in the protest.

As the protesters arrived to the entrance of El Ein refugee camp, Israeli soldiers attacked them and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades.

On Thursday, the Israeli military continued its offensive into the El Ein refugee camp for the thirds day and kidnapped at least twenty Palestinians, mainly members of Hamas and the PFLP.

The military invasion to Al Ein refugee camp was initiated on Tuesday; at least two residents including a disabled man were killed. The physically challenged man was at home when a bullet fired by army the army struck him and the man bled to death.
