Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, issued on Wednesday a press release stating that it did not arrest Sheikh Mohammad Abu Jame’, and member of the National Palestinian Council, Hosny Zo’rob, in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

In its statement, Hamas said that these news are false and are fabricated by some agencies that are controlled by Fateh movement in order to deform the reality about what is going on in the Gaza Strip since Hamas is in total control of it.

Hamas also stated that these rumors only serve the occupation and what it described as “the American-Zionist” agenda which aims at destroying the legitimate resistance of the Palestinian people.

The movement added that the best proof of the falseness of these news is that both Zo’rob and Abu Jame’ are in their homes, and were never arrested.
