Palestinian infant dies at Erez Crossing

Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday that a Palestinian infant from Gaza City died at Erez (Beit Hanoun) Israeli crossing while his father was transferring him to an Israeli hospital for treatment.

The sources stated that the child, Ibrahim Ali Abu Nahl, 1, suffered a heart disease and his father was trying to transport him to the Israeli hospital for treatment, but they were forced to wait for several hours at the crossing.
Also, the sources added that the lack of Oxygen, high humidity and extreme summer heat led to the death of the child who already suffered from a heart disease.
