In a joint press statement, resistance fighters from the three political factions said that their attack came in response to continued Israeli army attacks on Palestinians in both the West Bank and the Gaza strip.

The statement also said that the fighters who conducted the resistance operation managed to pull out safely after its completion.

The fighters vowed to continue their struggle against the Israeli army and settlers who live illegally in the West Bank contrary to international law.
