Interview with Minister of Education, Nasser Eddin El-Shaer after being released

The Minister of Information in the deposed National Unity government, Nasser Eddin El Shaer said that the prisoners appealed for al the Palestinian people represented by all the Palestinian factions to give up all the manifestation of sham that carried out on the Palestinian lands and to reinforce the Palestinian unity because it's not fair to separate the prisoners according to the factional affiliation.

He added that every Palestinian prisoner feel embarrassed concerning what's happening of bloody infighting on the Palestinian lands but the prisoners now are more comfortable as the situation is started to be calm.

The prisoners also called for radical remedy of the situation and to return back to dialogue, as El Shaer said.

Palestine News Network (PNN) managed interview with El Shaer after being released from Majedo detention center to clarify the effects of the latest incidents on the prisoners.

El Shaer said that the prisoners existed together in one unit but they are worried about the latest incidents and as they consider themselves as security guards for the Palestinians, they have an appeal which is to take a new active role in creating a peaceful situation just as they were before.

" I don't think that the prisoner have quick procedures to take to calm the situation" El Shaer said. "the prisoners are partly far from the details of the unfortunate latest incidents but in general they considered the incidents embarrassing and not acceptable for any Palestinian as we the Palestinians are not only lose ourselves but also our friends in the whole world", he added.

"What's needed now is to study the situation and to handle it and there should be wise people to handle the situation who are influential in this field, for me I will take a part in this field and if I failed I will return back proudly to my university and academic work" he said.

El Shaer stated that the Palestinians must be reunited again because they need to stand as one unit since the Palestinian cause is sacred and much more important than any concerns of the Palestinian factions and it's not allowed to any one to assault the legislation.
We should be one part and have one word and never be divided and I am saying that the Israeli occupation has no humanity and it's delusion to think that they want to provide a political solution to the Palestinians, we only have ourselves and our unity except that is deception and we must overtake all our disagreements, as El Shaer stated.

Israeli delayed the release of Nasser Eddin El Shaer till Tuesday night. The decision of releasing him issued in Ofer detention center but he was transferred to Al Ramllah and Majedo detention center where he was released on the afternoon, but he was delayed purposely till the time were the Journalist leave the entrance of Salem military center.

El Shaer denied the existence of any deal to release him and said that there are no pledges or deals but they set a condition which is not to represent any restricted faction in any political work whether is local, regional or international.
