PLO Report: Israeli army killed 11 Palestinian children during the month of June 2007

The Palestinian liberation organization PLO- international and national relations Dept. issued a report on Saturday stating that the Israeli army has killed 11 Palestinian children five of which were killed when land mine left by the Israeli army exploded in Rafah city in the Gaza strip.

The reported had the title of "Nation under Occupation" covered the Israeli violation against Palestinians during the month of June 2007.

The report remarked that the Israeli army has escalated its attacks against Palestinian communities in the West Bank and the Gaza strip. Those attacks involved destroying infrastructure and private property in addition to random kidnapping of civilians.

The army also continued its policy of isolating the costal region the construction of the illegal wall and the take over of east Jerusalem, the report added.

The report shows that during the month of June 2007 that in addition to the eleven Palestinian children killed one Palestinian prisoner who was being held in Israeli detention camp died due to lace of medical attention. During the month 120 Palestinians sustained wounds by Israeli army fire.

In east Jerusalem, the report said that Israeli athurities destroyed five Palestinian owned houses, calming that they were built without documents.

In Nablus city , located in the northern part of the West Bank, the report shows that Israeli army damaged 20 Palestinian homes kidnapped 180 civilians.

During the month of June 2007, Israeli settlers located near Hebron city in the southern part of the West Bank, destroyed 250 olive trees owned by Palestinian farmers, uprooted 400 other trees and took them to nearby Israeli settlements in addition settlers too over 13 donoms of land, according to the report.
