Khalid added that these attacks, that target civilians and non-civilians, will have consequences and the Palestinians will not stand idle without any retaliation. He also stated that the DFLP strongly believes that Israel is making a mistake if it believes that the incidents in Gaza, and the Hamas’ Executive Force control over all security devices there, will give it the chance to carry assaults in the Gaza Strip, and warned that the resistance will retaliate against all Israeli attacks. Khalid called on Hamas movement to observe the consequences of its take-over of the Gaza Strip, which took place on June 14 when Hamas gunmen stormed all security centers, dominated by Fateh, and controlled them, and added that these incidents are giving Israel a chance to shell the Gaza Strip and tighten the siege over it. He also demanded international protection to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and demanded that Israel should lift its siege and collective punishment measures since there procedures are illegal and affecting the daily lives of the civilians. On Wednesday morning, thirteen Palestinians, including one child, were killed and several others were injured when the Israeli army invaded Gaza and exchanged fire with resistance fighters, two Israeli soldiers were also injured in the attack. |
