The detainees issued a press release stating the they tried to negotiate with the administration in order to stop the daily attacks and illegal practices, but it refused to hold talks and reused to provide the ailing detainees with the needed medical attention and care. They added that the food provided to them is of a bad quality, and is also insufficient. Furthermore, the detainees stated that there are deprived from even having shows regularly and that the administration is barring their parents and lawyers from visiting them. They added that they will carry further protest procedures if their conditions were not improved and appealed all institutions to support them and expose the illegal Israeli practices against them. It is worth mentioning that a Palestinian detainee died on Tuesday in an Israeli prison after he was severely tortured during interrogation. |
