Army invades southern cities in the West Bank and kidnaps four civilians

The Israeli army invaded the southern West Bank cities of Bethlehem and Hebron, searching homes and kidnapping four civilians on Monday at dawn.


Witnesses reported that a massive Israeli force invaded the downtown area of Bethlehem city and ransacked a number of homes there, kidnapping Murad Salhab, 33, and Issa Jawarish, 32. The two captives were taken an undisclosed location.

At the same time, a further Israeli force stormed the town of Doha, located in the western side of Bethlehem city. Troops and searched the homes of many residents, kidnapping Ameen Da'amssah, 26, amd Ra'ed Da'amssah, 32. Again, these captives were taken to an unknown location.

Also on Monday morning, the Israeli army attacked residents' homes in the city of Hebron. Palestinian sources reported that troops searched and ransacked homes in the old city and the nearby Al Thahria town, damaging family belongings. No kidnapping were reported.
