The protesters, who gathered in front of the Chamber of Commerce, slammed the internal clashes between Hamas and Fateh gunmen, stating that these clashes smeared the reputation of Palestine as a state fighting against occupation..

Basil Canaan, head of the Chamber of Commerce in Nablus, stated that events in Gaza call for a national decision by the president, the government, and all factions to stop these clashes which have inflicted huge human and economical losses on the region and people.

Canaan added that Palestinians reject the internal clashes and wish to lead a decent life under a united government that includes all factions and sectors of society.
