Information Minister calls for releasing abducted reporter

Palestinian Information Minister, Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi called for the immediate release of Abdul-Salam Abu Askar, a local reporter who was abducted in Gaza on Friday evening.

Barghouthi repeated his calls for the safe release of the abducted BBC reporter, Allen Johnston, and called for halting all sorts of attacks against the reporters.

He added that such incidents harm the Palestinian cause and struggle.
