Five Palestinian civilians among them two children were injured as Israeli army invades Jenin

The Israeli army injured five Palestinian civilians as troops continue its operation in Jenin refugee camp located in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, on Sunday afternoon.



The five civilians were injured as Israeli soldiers opened fire and sound bombs randomly at the residents' homes in the refugee camp, witnesses reported.

Medical sources stated that Mohamed Najem, 14, was injured in the face by a live round, and Hiaba Ighbariha was hit with a built shrapnel in her eye while Montaser Al Dorosi, 24, was injured in his leg. The medical sources added that Fou'ad Al Damag and the boy Ahmad Al Sa'adi, were hit with rubber rounds during clashes erupted between the invading troops and local stone throwing youth.

Local residents in the refugee camp stated that Israeli soldiers are attacking resident homes and searching them, in the same time an army bulldozer have bulldozed a street in the camp center.

A massive Israeli army force stormed the refugee camp before noon and started to attack civilians. Early on Sunday at dawn Israeli army force invaded Jenin city and Jenin refugee camp searched some homes then kidnapped 3 civilians one of them was shot and injured before kidnapped by the army, local sources reported.
