Israeli Settlers and troops attack Palestinian farmers and Israeli peace activists near Hebron

200 Israeli illegal settlers and soldiers attacked Palestinian farmers, international and Israeli peaceful activists who were protesting in stolen Palestinian land in Yatta village south of Hebron in the southern part of the West Bank on Saturday midday.


Israeli settlers in Action - File 2007

The action was organized by the local civil committee in Yatta village and international and Israeli peace groups. The protest took place on stolen land that Israeli settlers from the nearby Sosia illegal settlement that is built on Palestinian stolen land are trying to annex it to the settlement.

The action was peaceful, then 200 Israeli settlers with their guns and some Israeli soldiers came to the location and started to attack the farmers and their supporters.

Local Palestinian soldiers reported that some of the formers sustained broses after settlers attacked them with rifle buts and batons.
