One Palestinian security officer killed during a car chase in Ramallah

Palestinian sources reported that a Palestinian security officer died during an armed car chase in Al Birah town, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah on Wednesday night.

Mohamed Al Ahmad, from the 17th force was killed and another five people were injured when Palestinian forces chased car thieves and clashed with them. Palestinian security sources reported that three suspects were arrested by the security forces after home raids in the town, several other escaped to Israel. The sources added that Palestinian security forces will continue to implement the new security plan in order to restore law and order.
