A spokesperson of the Front stated that these plans are intended to wipe out the history and the memory of the people who have lived in this area for thousands of years and built their history and culture.

In a statement released by the spokesperson of the Front, the DFLP stated that the UN resolutions do not recognize the Israeli control over Jerusalem, and reject the Israeli plans to change the demography and structure of the Holy City.

The spokesperson also said that any political solution to the conflict must include a just solution to the issue of Jerusalem in accordance to the international resolutions.

He called on the United Nations, the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the UNESCO to interfere and bar Israel from implementing its plans that aims are to void the Palestinian and Arab history in Jerusalem.
