The two fighters were identified as Amin Lubbada, 21, and Fadel Nour, 22. They were shot and killed during armed clashes with the invading Israeli forces. Palestinian sources reported that soldiers surrounded the house of Tha’er Al Zorba, in Kroum Ashour area, and exchanged fire with resistance fighters hiding there. Soldiers fired several shells at the house, completely burning and destroying it before kidnapping Ashour and taking him to an unknown destination. The bodies of the two fighters were moved to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, and hundreds of residents took to the streets and chanted slogans against the occupation.
