A Palestinian girl was wounded when she was hit with a stone thrown by an Israeli soldier in the village of Saida near Tulkarem in the northern West Bank, Palestinian sources reported.

Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli army vehicle invaded the village in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Troops opened fire in the air and threw sound bombs at residents' homes.

Clashes erupted between the soldiers and the Palestinian youths, who threw stones at them. Eyewitnesses said that the soldiers also started to throw stones at the youth and wounded eight-year old Nadeen Raddad in the head. The girl was taken to Thabet Thabet hospital for treatment.
