Eyewitness reported that three settlers abducted Ra'fat Samih Al Khateeb, 16, as he was heading back home after visiting a relative living on the main road that links Hizma with Jericho.

The settlers took Al Khateeb to an area near Maali Adumim settlement and attacked him with blades while punching and kicking him,

After attacking Al Khateeb, the settlers drove him to an area near his town while he was unconscious, dropped him there and sped away.

He was moved later on to Haddasah Ein Karem Israeli hospital in Jerusalem.
